BMX BC Cup #1
Abbotsford Indoor
Feb 12/13

PacificSport National Cycling Centre BMX coaching athlete, Mischa Partridge embarked on his first race of the 2005 BMX season under hot national competition. Athletes from all across Canada came together for two days of racing that made up the BC Cup and CCA Project Development Team Selection.

Partridge raced well displaying sharp tactics and skill all weekend. After tough competition and a few crashes, he made his Main on Saturday and placed a respectable 7th to start off the year. On Sunday as he vied for a spot on the Development Project, another unfortunate crash held him up, but he succeeding in making his Main by placing second in the final moto and came away in 4th place.

With over three months until the next CCA event, Partridge will continue training with the centre and racing with his Lifestyles team in the American Bicycle Association competitions. Thanks to Gary and the crew at the Abbotsford Indoor track for the great event and to the Martins for their INCREDIBLE hospitality! Congratulations on a strong showing Mischa, and we look forward to more exciting BMX action this summer in the outdoor season.
-Tracey Sheppard, Grassroots Development Coach
