Team Presentation

National Cycling Centre - Pacific athletes Svein Tuft, Alex Wrubleski and Erinne Willock have been picked by the Canadian Cycling Association to represent Canada in the World Road Cycling Championships in Varese, Italy from September 22-28.

Tuft - who finish seventh in the time trial at the Beijing Olympics - just last week won gold in the individual pursuit at the Track Nationals in Burnaby. Wrubleski and Willock, despite having disappointing results at the Olympics, have performed well on the World Cup circuit, and hope to better the top 10 placing in last year's Championships. The women's team will also compete at the Giro de Toscana in Italy from September 16-21.
