Time Trial Test at the Training Camp



An Elite Masters Training Camp will be held from January 30 - February 1, 2009 in Victoria. The Camp is open to Masters category cyclists, and is subject to approval by NCC head coach Houshang Amiri. Space is limited.

The camp will consist of two rides, meeting at PacificSport Victoria with riders divided into different groups based on the number of cyclists. There will be an 80 kilometre endurance ride, and a time trial with a hill climb. The camp also includes a maximal aerobic power test; torque analysis from pedaling - stroke and compression between left and right stroke; body compensation and evaluation. All testing will be performed at the world class testing facility at the Pacific Institute for Sport Excellence (PISE) using the SRM ergometer.

All riders must have a helmet, full fenders, proper riding clothing and indoor gym clothing (shoes, shorts etc).

Camp fee: $450.00. Transportation, accommodation and food are not included in the fee. Full fee is payable upon acceptance into the camp by the head coach. Cancelation fee: $100.00 before January 25th, 50% after January 25th. No refunds after January 28th. Deadline to apply: January 15, 2009.
