PCC Head Coach Houshang Amiri was in Burnaby, BC this week assisting with the Cycling BC March Break Youth Camp. The four-day camp from March 19 - 22 featured 2 track sessions, seminars, an indoor cycling session, a road ride and two races.

Twenty riders from 12 – 18 years took part in the three-hour track sessions at the Burnaby Velodrome. This was followed by an off-bike seminar led by National Track Sprint Team member Scott Mulder, who gave some insight into the world of track sprint racing and his personal journey in the sport. A two-hour road ride, supported by Coach Amiri, started the next day which took place through the hilly, but scenic roads of Anmore and Belcarra. In the afternoon Olympians Lesley Tomlinson and Gina Grain led a one-hour indoor cycling session.
