The Mount Baker Bicycle Club (MBBC) and the Northwest Tandem Rally (NWTR) announce Tandem Diversity NWTR 2015, to be held in Bellingham WA July 2-6, 2015. The five-day rally will include supported bicycle rides, banquet, seminars, vendor fair, local food, and multiple special events sure to entertain visitors to Whatcom County.

Tandem rallies not just for “bicycles built for two.” There will be triple bikes, quads and even quint-seated bikes. Single bikes (which tandemers call “half bikes”) are also encouraged to participate. As a single bike rider, you haven’t experienced paceline fun until you’ve ridden your single bike down a hill behind a line of tandems.

A highlight of every NWTR is the mass start of the first supported ride. Be there on the morning of July 4th to see hundreds of tandem bicycles parading through Bellingham!

The annual NWTR has been held in a different northwest city since its inception in 1986. NWTR 2015 will be the first time Bellingham has been the host. Bellingham's bicyclists are excited to show off their scenic cycling roads and views, including Chuckanut Drive, Birch Bay, and Lake Whatcom’s north shore.

Participants won’t want to miss The Atlantics, the popular local band providing entertainment at the annual banquet.

Registration opens in January 2015. See more information at http://nwtr.org/2015
