PCC athlete Erinne Willock (Webcor Builders) pulled off a big win over the weekend by capturing Stage 5 of the Nature Valley Grand Prix in Minnesota on June 19. Stage 5, the Menomonie Road Race, is a 122 km (76 mile) race in Wisconsin on challenging rural country roads with long climbs, finishing with several circuits in the city. This put Willock into 4th place overall in the GC. The five-day stage race was reduced to four stages as a result of wild weather. "As I’m writing this a day late, we’ve already been and come back from our Cannon Falls start line for Stage 3. And yes it was only a start line as the race just got cancelled because of extreme weather warnings of tornadoes, thunder storms, lightning and major wind!" reports Willock.
