PCC Athlete Honoured in Cycling BC Awards

Pacific Cycling Centre athlete Tyler Trace has won Cycling BC’s Male Road Cyclist of the Year Award. He has scored some notable results this year finishing the season winning the BC Cyclocross Series.

“I was honoured to win this award. It was unexpected as I thought there were many others including many of my teammates that deserved it as well,” he said. “This year has been quite successful for me on the road and it was great finishing out the season by winning the BC Cyclocross series.”

His other victories included the K-Town Classic (Overall and in the Criterium), and he came third in the Westside Classic. “Working with Pacific Cycling Centre Head Coach Houshang Amiri has allowed me to make some great improvements and I hope I can continue this success through next year,” Trace added.

Winter Training Camp Registration

The first PCC Winter Training Camp is open for registration. The camp, led by head coach Houshang Amiri, will run from December 6 - 9 and be based at PCC in Victoria. The camp will prepare you for the 2018-2019 cycling season with a focus on building an aerobic base. Rides aim to improve endurance and boost aerobic capacity for endurance cycling disciplines such as road, track, MTB and triathlon. more >
