Pacific Cycling Centre
Pacific Cycling Centre (PCC) provides coaching and training services for Elite, Masters, and Junior athletes in road, mountain bike, track, and cyclo-cross.
The Pacific Cycling Centre runs camps during the fall, winter, and spring at its base in Victoria, BC. These camps are typically four days in duration and are great preparation for the season ahead. All athletes, no matter what level of ability benefit from training in the off season – this is a way to build endurance and develop race techniques that will hold you in good stead when race season arrives.
Each camp features daily long rides from three to five hours. Each ride will have a focus: a fitness assessment ride will focus on hill climbing and/or a time trial; a hilly endurance ride will have an emphasis on climbing techniques; and endurance rides will focus on technique – leg speed, short sprints, pace line work and drills.
Camps will also include a training presentation by the head coach or a guest speaker, and occasionally a gym session with core and strength exercises.
PCC athletes compete in provincial, national and international events. Regular athlete updates will be featured on our News page.
