Vancouver Island athletes took part in the BC Time Trial championships on September 9th in Fort Langley, achieving three podiums, in the elite, U19 and U17 categories.

The course was a 15km loop with one U-turn and five 90⁰ turns which proved challenging to the riders. There was also a head and tail wind and cross winds. The U17 and U19 riders did one lap of the 15km course, with the elite men doing two. The U17 and U19 riders cycling for the Russ Hays / Accent Inns team, Alex Amiri from Victoria BC - who is with the Pacific Cycling Centre - and Jordan Duncan from Comox BC, won their respective categories. The elite men had one Russ Hays / Accent Inns racer, Emile de Rosnay, who placed second.
