Pacific Cycling Centre has partnered with the Victoria Gran Fondo (VGF), a 270 km ride around Southern Vancouver Island. The ride – to be held on June 21st – will be its fifth year.

The host hotel is the Fairmont Empress where the pre-ride briefing, breakfast, and start/finish are located. The VGF with ocean-side views, epic forested corridors, abundant wildlife, and idyllic wine country vistas is an event like very few others.

VGF Doppio was founded by two avid cyclists who desired to design an event deserving of Victoria’s reputation as Canada’s Cycling Capital. The ride is a breathtaking display of challenging west coast landscape. It is adventurous, boutique, and delivers the ultimate in rider experience.

The VGF Doppio is designed by cyclists, for cyclists with the route planned by experienced long distance riders. The ride is fully supported, and there is an evening reception at The Fairmont Empress the evening before, and breakfast the next morning. All participants have to do is ride.
