PCC's Holly Simonson has been crowned 2018 U23 BC Criterium Champion. Last weekend she took the provincial title as well as a second place finish in the elite race.

"It's always special to achieve a result like this one, but extra rewarding when there is so much hard work by so many people put into making it happen,” Holly said. “Without the strength of my teammates out there on the road, both making the race super aggressive and coming up with on-the-fly advice and race plans to get us to the finish, the race would not have been the same for me.”

Holly had praise for head coach Houshang Amiri. “It's a whole season (and several years!) of work and support on his behalf but having Houshang on the sidelines at the BC championships motivated me greatly. This season has been full of good moments and I owe them all to those who have supported me!"
